Early Rise in Agathon

Dantooine, one of the most rural and passive planets in the whole galaxy. Gentle breezes, flowering fields, flowing rivers, glistening lakes, lazy trees and perfumed scents consumed the landscape.

Fazza very much enjoyed his time there in his retirement. Most days were filled with simple resting or meditating in the plains as his pet Bol, simply named Bol, his pet Nuna, simply named Nunu and his trusty astromech droid, R2-Y3, sat beside him. Where he once made his home near the small spaceport outpost to the north, everything changed when the Galactic Civil War came to Dantooine and he could no longer stay in that place.

Fazza made his way on his Bol across the landscape, his droid following and his Nuna sat on the saddle, its wide eyed and simple empty headed gaze darting about as it always did. For some time Fazza was on the search for safe and peaceful residence. During his search he made a passing visit to the Jedi temple ruins to the east. The visit was only a sentimental one at best, but also acted as shelter from that night's storm which struck the land. During his meditations in the caves beyond the waterfall he began to feel a presence, it was both near and far away all at once. Fazza had never been gifted in farsight, and so the echos of the Force that were trying to meet him did little to benefit him. With the aura of the temple acting as a boon to his connection to the Force however, he was at the very least able to get a general direction of what he was suddenly sensing on the planet.

In the morning he made his way out from the cave and headed towards the south of Dantooine. His travels were certainly not in vain as he came upon a small village. Not many buildings, but there seemed to be a main complex or village hall in the center, though nobody was around to greet him. That night another storm began to brew overhead, it seemed to be the season for it. Fazza dismounted Bol and made his way inside, his other smaller companions following him. Fazza simply rested on a chair for a while as the rain storm outside hit town. Before long Fazza had dosed off in his chair, as he often did. He was suddenly woke however by an IG-100 droid entering the building. The droid began to question Fazza on his purpose and began to announce that he was on private property. After a short exchange and confirmation that Fazza was not a threat, a conversation was had about this mysterious three year abandoned village called Agathon. Shortly after, Fazza was soon offered a place of residence by the droid, Holder.

Fazza was given a small temporary residence in the main square of the village whilst he waited for the droid's owner, and owner of the village to come by and house him officially in Agathon. Fazza deeply appreciated the fact he had finally found a peaceful spot to call home that was far away from the war between the Republic and the Empire. Coming here though was not simply chance, the Force was certainly at work. Whilst the true nature of this small and unassuming village had not yet been revealed, Fazza knew to say the least that there was something special about this place. It did not take long to make himself comfortable in the small hut which was rented him.

After spending a warm and relaxed night in the rented hut, he made his way outside in the early morning, as he usually did. Greeting Bol by petting his head as he stepped out, feeding him his usual breakfast consisting of plants and grains.

Fazza looked out to the serene landscape. As beautiful as the location was, it certainly needed some weeding. It became clear to Fazza now why the droid, Holder, asked Fazza if he could provide any help in cultivating the land. He gazed at the various plants for a while until one smaller plant caught his eye. It was drying out and had failed to fully blossom, unlike the other flowers in the area. Fazza slowly approached the plant, stretching his hands out as he began to form a connection with it...

"Ohh, heh heh, there is still some life in you get little one!" he said happily.

Fazza slowly knelt down, easing himself onto his old knees and began to meditate over the plant with his established connection, focusing his abilities of Consitor Sato to feed and nourish the plant with the Force. He spent a couple of hours of the early morning on it before stopping and rising to his feet with the aid of his cane. He slowly made his way across the gardens of the village, leaving the plant behind as the petals began to re-hydrate and blossom again.

A new era had eventually set upon the small town of Agathon. It was now becoming more established than it ever was before. But the the new visitors and those moving in were not the focal point of this shift.

Fazza had settled in to the town for last few months rather well, making friends amongst the residents and the mayor, Jacobus Finn, finding that they shared very much in common... In his time there he had established him self as the local gardener, herbalist and maker of tea.

With the ever rising remnants of the Empire and its dark Inquisition, a great darkness has been cast over the Force and all who seek to preserve the Light have become at great risk. Unknown to Fazza, with the capture of some of those who would preserve the Jedi and the Republic, and the public declaration of a Jedi's indentitiy to the Empire, those in relation in connection to Agathon had been placed in danger, as Fazza feared would happen.

In this knowledge, the former mayor of the town, Jacobus Finn, had sought to prevent calamity by destroying the contents of the town's sensitive archives and taking with him copies of the data along with what artifacts he could carry with his close friends and allies before vanishing to the stars. Fazza remained behind as the humble gardener as he has always presented himself. The new mayor, Ivunuvi seeks to look after the town and keep it flourishing in Jacobus' absense. In what remains of the Reliquary she had placed a candle of respects amongst the others upon the shrine.

Fazza looked upon the remains of the contents of the archive and destroyed consoles before making his way to the shrine and bowing himself forth in honour of his now absent friend, even though he was unaware of what situation preceded them. Though the current outlook was bleak, he knew to trust in the Force, as the Jedi had done for over a thousand generations as he awaited for what would unfold next, but he would always keep an eye on the sky for his allies...

In Fazza's lengthy time in the town, various people came and left. Included were apprentices and students that had come and gone, by name specifically; Korine, Bywing and Zarek. And there were even two new animal companions which Fazza had tamed from the wild plains; his loyal Huurton who he had named "Herbert", and a young Graul, who he had affectionately named "Mountain", who of course he made sure stayed far away from the town in order not to frighten the residents...

Eventually however, Dantooine faced a drastic change of circumstances with the invasion of the Empire.

Fazza's time had come to an unsuspected end when he was taken as a prisoner of war when he was found treating injured Republic soldiers on site of the Mining Outpost from the aftermath of the lost battle there with the invaders. Questioned by agents and Imperial Inquisitors who found him suspicious, the fragile old Ithorian was beaten and then shipped to the world of Talus, where his true identity as a Jedi Master was revealed, and where he was quickly executed after rigorous and cruel tortures at the hands of his captors who had failed to convert him to their way of thinking, leaving those he cared for, and those who he tutored to fend for themselves.

His pet Huuton, Herbert sadly died inside Fazza's house as the Empire set it ablaze, and with his life force no longer connected to the material plain, so gone was his connection to his other tamed animals, who had all returned to their natural instinicts and as a result fled back into the wild. All that remained of his companions now was his badly burned Astromech, R2-Y4, of which was also inside the house as it was set alight, and as a result became in serious need of repairs, as well as a new master now...

With his life taken, and his house burned down by Imperials as a message, a heart was seemingly taken from the town of Agathon, replaced by a painful echo, a shadow that was cast over the land, as the Empire dominated the reigion with an iron fist whilst the Republic struggled hard to win it back. But somewhere out there, the essence of Fazza watched over his old friends, retaining an optimisitc and loving spirit with the hope that warmth and life would be restored to both Dantooine, and the galaxy again...
