Agathon, Dantooine: Quaint Hamlet with a Secret!

Backstory:
Agathon is a small hamlet hidden in the hillside by a river flowing through the wilds of Dantooine. A small, but close community of homesteaders, traders, and frontiersmen the town has been able to keep itself away from the schemes of the outlaws who hide themselves on the quaint world as well as the remnants of the Imperial military. At its center, rests an abandoned reliquary left behind by previous generations, a building many just admire simply for its history and beauty. However, that reliquary is the heart of the true stewards of Agathon. Beneath the innocent and unassuming disguise that is the humble township, a group known as the Protectorate guards that reliquary and the secrets it keeps.

For years, Agathon, home to The Protectorate, served as a network hub for the trade and smuggling of relics and fugitive Force users among those seeking to preserve the mysteries of the Light Side . As time passed, the city fell into disarray and was abandoned. However, thanks to the city’s droid steward, Holder, the town has begun flourishing again as its original self as he searches where he can for his old friends and masters.



Roleplaying:

This town is built around the ongoing Roleplaying and stories centered around the characters that call it home, however anyone, not just citizens, are more than welcome to come participate and add their own flavors to Agathon!

The town is being built to be a story-focused RP city for the stories of its citizens and its host guild, The Protectorate. Whether you're wanting to join in on those stories, seeking refuge from Dantooine's wilderness, looking for an untouched market to set up shop, or anything in between then come to Agathon and place your claim!

We will happily get you set up with a small house and a month’s worth of maintenance while you nestle your way into the city.

Ivunuvi looked down at the candle she had just placed and lit, taking a moment longer to reflect upon the man who it was for. She personally did not know Jacobus very well but the simple act felt right, Agathon would continue for it was more than just a sleepy town that he had fought for. The things around her, the ideals that the Protectorate stood for, those would continue.

Names are just names, are they not?

She rose and headed into the other room to pull up the reports. For now they were stable, she intended for the man in the hat to return to something thriving. Yet she still needed to be careful of who wanted to settle here, he would not be happy to walk into a nest of intrigue, not with the secrets locked up mere steps away. Agathon needed people, so how could she draw them? Ivu transferred the reports into her personal datapad then stepped outside the Reliquary.

They had a hotel, a garage, a medical center, a shuttle, a cantina, even trainers and terminals. She looked over at Keeper's Tavern, people, she hoped, would start there. Dantooine had good hunting, hunters needed a place to stay, a source of income and a source of drink. Thankfully all three of those were mere steps from each other.

Keeper's Tavern would be specially staffed every Thursday from 5pm-7pm ET, and perhaps a bit later depending on the crowd. She had already hired musicians and dancers to entertain, a tender for the bar. She had even brought in a few more chairs. She wondered if anyone would dare try the Piket Push? Or play the game that her friends had devised? She toyed with the idea of a regular race across the countryside. The courses would need to be determined, but surely that would not be too hard either?

Ivunuvi was also tasked with adding to the library. Jacobus might have taken the name with him, but the purpose was still here, still needful. She hoped that old Fazza would agree, name or no name, the Protectorate's quest will carry on. She had a lot of work to do, and more than a few people to talk to.
