Housing pack up?

Will we be seeing housing pack up in the next year? It could be a godsend to people if they are going to be away for an extended time...just pack up the house and come back in six months. That cool spot may no longer be there, but at least they still have the house and can put it in a new spot in the original city or in a new city.

As I remember it, house pack-up still required maintenance, so I don't really see the point of it. (Not in that context, anyways. I can certainly see the appeal of moving a house without messing up the decorations.)

Your best bet is either to give admin access to someone you trust to keep feeding it, or pile up a ton of credits and drop them in before you leave.

On the other hand, if you were talking about redeeding, you can already do that if you remove all the items you have inside the house. It'll deduct some money from its maintenance pool, but after that...

In the NGE? Beats me. Pre-CU definitely kills the house after a while, though.

I remember marking all those houses for the day when the fighters would fly over and bomb them and we'd get points to spend on stuff, like furniture.

What would be nice would be if they didn't take maint while packed up.

That would probably defeat the purpose of redeeding (except in the rare cases where you were trading a deed you had been using before).

I seem to remember having a house packed up and not paying maintenance was a thing on live. I could be mistaken.
